What is GlobeTalk.online?
GlobeTalk.online is an online language school based in Italy. We offer live, interactive language courses delivered via video-conferencing, with a focus on real communication, clear explanations, and personalised feedback.
Are the lessons live or pre-recorded?
How do online lessons work in practice?
Before your course starts, you receive a link to our virtual classroom, the dates and times of your lessons, and any instructions or materials you may need. At the time of the lesson, you click the link, join the classroom and follow your teacher’s guidance.
Which languages and levels do you offer?
Available languages and levels are indicated on each course page. You will find information about the language, the target level (for example A1–C2) and any specific focus such as exam preparation or conversation.
What do I need technically to follow the lessons?
You will need a computer, tablet or smartphone, a stable internet connection, a microphone and speakers or headphones, and ideally a webcam. You do not need a VPN: a normal home or mobile internet connection is enough for our lessons. For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer in a quiet environment.
How do I enrol in a course?
You can enrol directly on our website by choosing your course, adding it to your cart, and completing the checkout process. After successful payment, you receive a confirmation email with the next steps.
How can I pay for my course?
Payments are made securely online through trusted third-party providers such as card payment gateways. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Available payment options are shown at checkout and may include credit or debit cards and other supported methods.
Do you issue invoices and certificates?
Yes. After your purchase, we can issue an invoice in line with Italian tax regulations (regime forfettario). At the end of your course, you can receive a Certificate of Attendance indicating the language, approximate level and number of hours completed.
What happens after I complete my purchase?
Once your payment is confirmed, you receive a confirmation email with practical information about your course, including the start date, timetable, access details for the online classroom and any materials you may need. If you do not receive anything, please check your spam folder and then contact us.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
An LMS is short for Learning Management System. It is a software that allows you to automate, manage, and capture the learning, or training, with your organization.
Can I reschedule or cancel a 1-to-1 lesson?
Are lessons recorded?
By default, our live lessons are not recorded. If a lesson were ever to be recorded, for example to allow students to review it, participants would be informed in advance and any recording would follow our Privacy Policy and data protection obligations.
A modern learning software should encourage collaborative learning – the ability to follow and share colleague updates, join communities, discuss projects and learning, and share appreciation and knowledge across multiple teams. As employee expectation and required skills shift, it’s important to capture informal learning, and drive increased adoption of a common learning system with modern capabilities.
How do you protect my personal data?
GlobeTalk.online is based in Italy and processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Italian privacy law. We collect only the data necessary to provide our services, use secure third-party providers for payments and online lessons, do not sell your data to third parties, and retain data only for as long as necessary and as required by law. Do you offer both group courses and private lessons?
Yes. Many programmes can be offered as small group courses and/or individual 1-to-1 lessons. The available formats, prices and number of hours are listed on each course page.
Is GlobeTalk.online suitable for children or teenagers?
Some language programmes may be suitable for younger learners, depending on the course level, schedule and the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you are interested in courses for children or teenagers, please contact us with details and we will let you know which options are available.
In which languages is information available?
Our website and legal information can be made available in multiple languages, including English, Italian, Russian and Simplified Chinese. In case of differences between language versions, the English and/or Italian versions of the legal documents may prevail.
